Cartooning
I am in the last week of a cartooning artist in residence I am doing here with 3rd and 4th graders. What fun!! They are so fresh and eager and creative! I hope to be able to post some pictures of their work here. I am also working on commissions and have more coming in daily, thank You Jesus! I am putting more work on my Xanadu site and also my Fine Art America site. Wish I was more skilled at the computer stuff tho: )

Cartooning
Today I started a Artist in Residence her in the Winona area teaching cartooning basics to 3rd and 4th graders. It is such fun to teach and they are so OPEN at this age to learning. They soon find out they do not have to know how to 'draw' to learn cartooning. The kids learn something about writing, communicating and ar often surprised at how well their finished 'cartoon' looks. They develop their own characters and learn a lot about writing in the process. I will share some of the finished products if I get permission.
